STERLING HOUSE GETS SUPPORT FROM LOCAL COMPANIES June 27th, 2010

This past Spring Sterling House received support for several local companies working on a variety of community service projects at the center. In April 2010, a group of students from Fairfield University painted wood sealer on the Sterling House playground to prepare for it for our Nursery/Pre-school and summer camp; employers from Keller Williams Realty worked in the Sterling House Food Pantry sorting and stocking food, provided plantings and weeded one of our gardens along with helping with our Children’s Fair on June 5th; and on June 11th, employees from Deloitte Accounting Firm put all Nursery/Pre-School furniture/supplies in storage and set up camp office for the summer. For information about service projects please contact Bob Wargo, Director of Volunteer Services at 203-378-2606, Ext. 113 or rwargo@sterlinghousecc.org (see photos below)
